Privacy Policy

General privacy policy information describing how Microdigm may collect, use, and protect information.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Information We May Collect

This privacy policy describes the types of information Microdigm may collect through website forms, email communication, project onboarding, and analytics tools.

That information may include contact details, company information, project requirements, billing details, and technical usage data necessary to operate and improve the site.

How Information May Be Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver services, improve the website experience, and communicate about projects or service updates.

Microdigm may also use aggregated, non-identifying information to better understand website performance and user interest.

Data Sharing and Service Providers

Microdigm may work with trusted third-party tools or service providers for hosting, analytics, payments, communication, or project operations.

Any sharing of information should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those tools to support business operations and client delivery.

Advertising and Meta Pixel

With a visitor's permission, Microdigm uses Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure page visits and successful website enquiries, understand advertising performance, and build audiences for relevant advertising.

Meta Pixel may process information about the pages visited, actions taken, browser or device, IP address, and advertising identifiers. Microdigm does not send contact-form messages or the personal details entered into the form as Meta event parameters.

Website Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

Microdigm uses Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors use the website: which pages they view, how far they scroll, where they click, and where a page is confusing. Clarity records these interactions as session replays and heatmaps.

Clarity may process information about the pages visited, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, browser or device, approximate location, and IP address. Text typed into forms is masked and is not recorded.

Cookie Choices

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before Microsoft Clarity or Meta Pixel load. They may accept all, allow analytics only, or reject both, and may reopen Privacy choices in the website footer to change their selection. Visitors elsewhere are not asked, and both tools load by default.

Rejecting analytics or marketing cookies does not prevent the website or contact form from working. Browser settings and extensions may also restrict cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies.

Product Feedback and Release News

Microdigm's apps, starting with Cue Canvas, contain no analytics or usage tracking. They contact Microdigm only when a person presses a button to do so: Send, to send feedback, or Subscribe, to ask for release news.

Feedback includes the message, an optional name and email address for a reply, and, only if the person leaves Include system info switched on, the app and macOS versions, Mac model, display sizes and which macOS permissions the app has. The app shows that list before anything is sent. Feedback is used to fix problems and plan features, and to reply when an email address is given.

Release news is sent only after the address's owner confirms it from an email. It includes the email address and, if given, a first name and how the person expects to use the app. It is used only to email about new versions, delivered through Resend, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

To limit abuse, a one-way hash of the sender's IP address is kept with each submission. The IP address itself is not stored.

Your Choices

Individuals may request updates or deletion of personal information where appropriate and subject to legal, contractual, or operational obligations.

Before launch, this policy should be reviewed and tailored to the actual tooling, jurisdictions, and data practices used by the business.
